ICQ Lives! … as a toothpaste?

I kid you not.

CTS, an Israeli pharmacy, has teamed up up with the creators of ICQ to bring us ‘icq toothpaste’ - a new way to “help P2P communication (person to person) while reducing bad breath”.

I didn’t realize chatting online required minty fresh breath.

Beyond the initial novelty rush, how much value does ICQ’s name bring to a toothpaste? Maybe a lot. Let’s look at me, for example.

I’m a geek at heart, so I have a tender spot for ICQ. (My number’s 1059929. What’s yours?) Nostalgia’s screaming at me, so if I saw it, I’d buy it; once I’d buy it, I’d try it; and if it’s good, I’d buy it again. Score - CTS just got trial.

So, here’s my question: how big is the geek market in Israel and how many of them have stanky breath?
