There’s been a lot of debate over what 2010’s mascot would be. Many Vancouverites suggested hockey-fitted beavers. Others, marijuana leaves with limbs. Instead, the City of Vancouver went with a different alternative that no one saw coming: three anime-inspired characters that aim to embody everything Vancouver (sans the hemp).
